Over the last 15 years, Saatchi Art has grown into the world’s leading online art gallery for emerging artists.. Further to its mission of democratizing the art world, supporting artists, and making art accessible to collectors around the globe, Saatchi Art made the decision to embark on its first project in the rapidly evolving market of non-fungible tokens (“NFTs”). And in that leap taking me with them. And what a ride its been....
Aside from the creative process itself which has pushed me creatively into completely uncharted terrain, what a world I've been propelled into. Its like the beginnings of the internet age on Coke. And I don't mean Coca-cola.
The Project is a spin on the generative art projects popular in the space. Instead of working with algorithms to generate the art, the team collaborated artists working across a variety of media to create an NFT avatar series of hand-crafted artworks based on the theme of Van Gogh.
Reservations open on the 6th of January and features incredible artists @saatchiart! Whitelist reservations open tomorrow 6th of January.
